Package: xserver-xorg-video-ati
Version: 1:6.5.7.3-3
Severity: normal
Hey there!
First of all, thanks for the Xorg packages, incredible they are working
as good, I am writing this from an upgraded unstable system.
However I ran into a number of problems during upgrade. One of them was
that /etc/X11/X pointed to /bin/true after running just
apt-get install xserver-xorg-video-ati
as I did not want to install all drivers... The other problems are
already reported, namely xkb-data not being installed with the server.
The third thing was that kdm did not find the X server anymore as it
had the full path /usr/X11R6/bin/X for the binary in the default
configuration.
Greetings
Torsten
