This problem is probably related to the URL above. It is marked as fixed
upstream. And from what I understand, it should be fixed in Xserver 1.3
(unless something finally got committed in mesa too, which means it
wouldn't be available in Debian yet). Could you upgrade to
xserver-xorg-core currently in testing or unstable and tell us know
whether it helps?
