PROBLEMS
1. Problems with the OSs found by GRUB.

Problems:
- Debian is listed twice: with/without kernel version
- Suse is listed twice
- Fedora not found
2. I am not sure if the installer tries to detect the video card and
suggests the correct driver. I assumed that was the case and I chose the
highlited driver (vesa). That was not the right one so I had to
reconfigure the X server and change the driver to 'mga' (I have Matrox MGA
2164W). To me it was not a problem but for an inexperienced user figuring
out which driver to use could be quite an issue.
3. The installer returned an error while files retrieving:
"Retrieving adduser 8%...
Debootstrap Error: Couldn't download adduser",
but recovered nicely - it went back to the main menu and let me restart
the installation from the point where it had failed. The error didn't
occur again. While the error message came up it was saying to check
virtual console 3 for more information, but on that console I found
nothing regarding the problem.
COMMENTS
* I like the installer, but the old one was also fine to me ;).
* Personally, I don't like the fact that packages installation is
interrupted by certain packages configuration questions. It means that you
have sit all the time at the console while the the system is being
installed. All those configs could be run after all packages are installed
or, if possible, some default values could be used without the user being
prompted at all. But maybe there is a way to run kind of an unattended
installation I don't know of?
* It is very hard, reading just the information on debian.org, to figure
out how to install Debian unstable (without upgrading). The
http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/ page mentions just
installing Sarge and until I started the installation I hadn't known that
the installer allows you to select the version from stable to unstable.
Also, at http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/builds there is
information about sid_d-i and sarge_d-i images but no link where they can
be found. It would be nice to put a link to
http://cdimage.debian.org/pub/cdimage-testing/.
