Package: xfonts-75dpi
Version: 1.0.0-2

I had built, according to the HOWTO found at

http://alioth.debian.org/docman/view.php/30192/21/debian-amd64-howto.html

I then tried to improve my font choices for the 32-bit openoffice by installing other font packages. Here is the complete attempt at installing xfonts-75dpi

(Note, I was already inside the chroot)

chalcogenide:/# apt-get install xfonts-75dpi

The fonts do appear in /usr/share/fonts/X11, but without the fonts.cache-1 file.

The same behavior was found for xonts-100dpi.

I'm running 2.6.16 #2 Thu Jun 8 18:15:51 MDT 2006 x86_64 GNU/Linux
ls -l /lib/libc.so.6
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 2006-06-15 19:59 /lib/libc.so.6 -> libc-2.3.6.so

I would be happy with a suggested work around, so that I could create the fonts.cache-1 file.
