Actually the kernel required is 2.6.21, not 2.6.20.  2.6.21 provides
the required DRM 1.7, where 2.6.20 only provides DRM 1.6.

If you're going to the trouble of applying these upgrades, you should
probably also do 
libxrandr2	2:1.2.0-4 
as well.
