Package: xserver-xorg_7.1.0-7

Hi all,

[Linux 2.4.27-1-386 #1 Fri Sep 3 06:24:46 UTC 2004 i686 GNU/Linux]

after upgrading to Etch and Xorg, X is not working as nicely as with
XFree86 with my ATI-RADEON 9200 (RV280).

I wonder whether this depends on Xorg packages being focused on new
hardware stuff or we are in the realm of minor bugs.
Hereunder there are a few comparative informations taken from two
logs (one referring to the current Xorg, the other being the last
log produced running XFree86 under latest Sarge). Of course, I would
send you the full logs, if so required.

Thanks for your attention.
Regards,
	Ennio.

PS: I tried also with linux-image 2.6.17-2-686 with worst results:
getting sequence of pipe symbol (|) in alternate colours in the moving
bar (index bar?) of mutt, when run from console.

Which problems? Definitely not the lack of 3D acceleration, as I
explained above.
