That would be better, yes.
Here is a new Xorg.log with Savage-related info. I found no (EE) entries
however...
Does xserver-xorg-video-savage 1:2.1.2-1 work for you?
I upgrade my computer quite regularly, so I'm quite confident that version
worked.
