Do you mean -ati 1:6.6.1-2 failed under xserver-xorg-core 2:1.0.2-10 ?
That is to be expected.
Are you absolutely sure the -mouse driver crashed? Can you try mouse
1:1.1.1-2 while keeping ati at which ever version works?
