The fix is to come up with a coherent set of servers that S/390 should build. I'd say that this would be Xephyr, Xnest, Xvfb, and Xorg with the dummy driver. You can NMU if you want, but NMUing for a non-release-candidate architecture with a fix you have already been told is incorrect is extremely hostile, and I'm sure the other teams will consider it as such. But hey, we have equal rights to the upload queue, so I can't stop you.
