I have installed 2.6 kernel and i noticed a differente mouse behavior
(in X eniviroment):
With 2.6 kernel mouse moves faster than with 2.4. So i tried to slow
down mouse with
xset m 1/10 0
that should give a really slow mouse motion, but xset seems to give no results.

I have a Trust PS/2 Mouse, that han no special features.
I have a i386 machine.

Any idea?

Thnx

Summing up:
xset m 1/10
has no effect with kernel 2.6, but
xset m 10
works fine.

xset m <anything you like>
works fine with kernel 2.4.

I posted this some days ago on debia-users and it didn't find any
significant response.
I think that the problem is not specific to my machine, since i
experienced the same problems with two machine running different
configuration (one stable, one testing) of Debian.

Moreover i think that it is quite important, since there are lots of
high resolution mice, that can be hard to use since they produce very
amplified motion of cursor. Obviusly in the future there will be more
and more high res mice.
