Bug#284581: WSXGA screen size missing in config (1680x1050)

these are the GTF modelines i picked off the web.  note that these are
not used in my XF86Config-4 file, i have simply added "1680x1050" to
the beginning of each Modes line, and that works.  i don't know enough
about X under to know whether the lines below will allow the system to
provide a 1680x1050 option or not.
