It's not all that huge as patches to XFree86 video drivers go, and it
improves hardware recognition (and apparently DPMS support as well).

This patch applies mostly cleanly to the SVN trunk as of revision 1223;
there are a bunch of 1-line offsets in radeon_driver.c but that's no big
deal.
