Package: xserver-xfree86
Version: 4.3.0-2
Severity: important

There are some keys lost on the spanish (es) keyboard layout.
While caracters like the n tilde, accents and ç (c,) are working
properly, the angle brackets < and > are not working well in X.
(Obviously i am typing that from a virtual console)

Some backported xfree 4.3 unofficial packages, that i tested on a different
host, had also that error and they get fixed but i don't remember where
they came from.

Thanks for following up!

Not to me. :) The XKB data was revamped and quite a few enhancements
were made to the actual XKB code.

Strictly speaking, it's perfectly correct for pc104 keyboards not to
define or recognize a "<LSGT>" key, because 104-key PC keyboards don't
have any such key.

4.3.0-3 will announce this change in the NEWS file, and the debconf
template description for this question has been expanded to spell out
exactly what will go wrong if you pick "pc101" or "pc104" for your
keyboard model when you really need "pc102" or "pc105".
