You were the only person to report this particular problem, so if the problem were this general, there'd have been tons of reports. I do know for a fact that discover 2.x has had some pretty awful SEGV problems recently, but they've been fixed in the most recent upload or so. On the other hand, the xserver-xfree86 maintainer scripts are written to handle discover failing horribly. So, we really don't know what is going wrong here. Can you still reproduce this bug? Try removing discover. Needless to say, Fabio and I did not see this problem, or we wouldn't have released the package. -- G.
