| Some 14 days ago I sent a bug report about that issue.
We all received the bug report on the mailing list. reposting the same
bug plus adding all the maintainer in CC is:
a) unpolite.
~ we are subscribed to the mailing list that we read regularly.
b) annoying.
~ we get all messages duplicated and without any extra information,
~ that will only cost us more time to filter.
c) disturbing.
~ even if we do our best for our users, we might be temporary busy.
~ Pushing doesn't help you or anybody else.
Also you are welcome to read the Debian mailing list usage policy
before posting.

| I am using knoppix 3.3, which I tried to upgrade to SID.
This operation is not supported by us. We don't know in what status
knoppix 3.3 packages are and we can't ensure any straight upgrade.

Your sources.list is not updated or is broken and apt cache hasn't been
updated properly.

Giving that you can fix the apt cache/sources.list problem, you can try
an apt-get dist-upgrade.
| The problem is that NOW, apt-get cannot install anything.
|
| This seems to be a severe problem of my system.
But no way on earth that this is a problem with the Debian Packages,
reason why i am closing the bug.
