I agree. Given the changes that Fabio and I just made[1] to turn off building of the specs docs for binary-arch builds, what you asked for is now infeasible. (libxaw7-dev is arch-specific, but xspecs and the specs docs within it are binary-all.) I am repurposing this bug, as long as you don't object.
