There were some changes in resource-initialization in #188,
though nothing seems to be related to Xaw.  #189 has a fix for
toolbar - but you're not building that configuration.  The
report showed where xterm was when it died (but no walkback
showing how it got there).

I guess we need more information.  (I'm not sure how to build your
configuration but could try that & see if I can reproduce one of the
library-related problems - I did that for 4.3.0 release but that's
earlier than your source).
