reassign 256066 xvkbd retitle 256066 xvkbd: doesn't grok XFree86 4.3 XKB data thanks On Thu, Jun 24, 2004 at 03:02:31PM -0500, Lance Simmons wrote: > Package: xdm > Version: 4.3.0.dfsg.1-5 > Severity: normal > > In the past I used xvkbd, a virtual keyboard, to login in on a tablet > computer. This is pretty much the way XKB is headed; X.Org is using XKB data based on an XFree86 4.4 pre-release, so I would have conclude that xvkbd is simply going to have to be updated to understand the new data. At the very least, a NEWS.Debian file should be added to xvkbd to warn that it doesn't work with recent versions of XFree86. Reassigning this bug. -- G.
