Is this bug reproducible without the -dri-trunk packages installed?

Well, if you have xserver-xfree86-dri-trunk installed, you're not seeing a
crash in plain xserver-xfree86 when you don't use the debugging server,
you're seeing a crash in xserver-xfree86-dri-trunk.

Please remove that package and see if you can reproduce the problem with
plain xserver-xfree86.
