Notice that if Branden would enable the driver-sdk patch i submitted
such a long time ago, it would be possible to use it for building
drivers externally. This would be usefull for building packages with
random patches applied, but i also had the intention of using it to
create a out-of-CVS build of the drivers package, which would nicely
divert the drivers like michel's dri-trunk packages does.
BTW, michel's dri-trunk package should be ok for you, since they are
built from a pre 4.4 tree from freedesktop.org.
Apologize to Branden if he already included the patch, but i didn't
notice.
