I'd have noticed if this quit working at any point through the 4.3.0-0pre* cycle. I have a few questions that may help to narrow down the problem. 1) What display manager are you using? 2) Does this problem manifest if you use startx to start the X server? 3) Try adding "set -x" just after the "set -e" line in /etc/X11/Xsession, and restarting your X session. What do you see in $HOME/.xsession-errors afterwards? -- G.
