isn't good enough. You must also say that one cannot just use any old
names one wants. For instance try using "Morse mouse" instead of "Generic
mouse".

=2E.. and it'll work fine. You just have to change the rest of your
XF86Config-4 to refer to "Morse mouse" instead of "Generic Mouse".
Either that, or it's hardcoded "Cordless Logitech (USB)" as an
acceptable default.
Closing due to stupidity. Please *think* before you file bugs on X,
dude. Seriously.
