Yes; I was just taking the opportunity for some irony. Daniel did
assert that a "clean solution" was a "matter of personal taste", so he
might have felt shipping a symlink "libXcursor.so." in libxcursor1 would
have been clean.
If so, I wouldn't share that assessment.
