X-Reportbug-Version: 1.18
X-Mailer: reportbug 1.18
Date: Thu, 21 Jun 2001 20:23:41 +0200
Sender: imke.infodrom.ffis.de!torsten@imke.infodrom.north.de
Delivered-To: maintonly@bugs.debian.org

Package: xbase-clients
Version: 4.0.3-4
Severity: minor

The error message
	Cannot to open config file.
if there is no XF86Config File, is confusing. It would be better to output
something like
	Cannot open XF86Config, not found in ... (list of search places)

Verified that when there is no config file in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4, the er=
ror=20
message is gramatically correct:

$ sudo mv /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 /etc/X11/XF86Config-4.foo
Password:
$ xf86cfg
Cannot open config file.
