This severity is gravely inflated.

This is not true.  The package works for many people, just not you,
exactly the way you want it.  "renders package unusable" means "renders
it unusable for (practically) everyone", not your particular
configuration.

You did not include any of the supplemental information described in
XF86Config(7); since you apparently used reportbug to file your report,
and the xserver-xfree86 bug script includes this information by default,
you must have deliberately removed it.  Please don't do that.

I can do nothing more with this bug until I have the information
described in XF86Config(7).
