Subject: xserver-svga: E window drags on NeoMagic sometimes distort alternate lines
Package: xserver-svga
Version: 3.3.5-2
Severity: normal

When moving a window or changing desktops in E, occasionally every other
line is not redrawn. As a result, (in the desktop case) the not-redrawn
lines appear about 10-20 pixels to the right of where they should (my
desktop drag bar is on the left), which is probably where they were as of
the previous redraw.

Something similar can happen while dragging windows, I think it is again
a matter of the last redraw not happening weth every other line.

I have only observed this with NeoMagic (Sony Vaio),
never with Voodoo3 or fb, so I think the X server is the problem.

Thanks in advance,

-Adam P.

Just looking through my old bugs, and found this. I haven't seen this
problem in ages, even before upgrading to XF86-4.
