Bug#164708: xspecs: text files contain broken escape sequences

Some (all?) /usr/share/doc/xspecs/*.txt.gz files contain strings
like "<digit>m". I guess there's an escape missing in front and they
are meant to be ANSI color/attribute sequences. Right now they just
make the text much harder to read.
