I have a .deb of XF CVS late-october packaged as a deb back when CVS
still easily compiled with the debian scripts. I have it installed (on
hold) with the rest of the official 4.1.0 packages. Depending on what
your needs are, it might work. Available at
http://fotap.org/~osi/xfree86/

I'll warn that the version number is all screwed up (its 4.1.0-8pre9v2
but not really. this was the first .deb i ever tried to build myself
and after i got a working dev going back and fixing the version seemed
like too much).
