How install X4 on woody?
I've been told it is:
edit /etc/apt/sources.list to point to testing.
apt-get update
then:
debian:/var/cache/apt# apt-get install x-window-system
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
E: Couldn't find package x-window-system
So, that didn't work.
This is on a basic potato system that has been upgraded to woody.
Also, both tasksel selections for X (basic & complete) don't work either.
============================================================
debian:/var/cache/apt# tasksel
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Package task-x-window-system has no available version, but exists in the database.
This typically means that the package was mentioned in a dependency and
never uploaded, has been obsoleted or is not available with the contents
of sources.list
E: Package task-x-window-system has no installation candidate
debian:/var/cache/apt# tasksel

So, how is X supposed to be installed on woody?
(Your help will be greatly appreciated! :) )
Thanks.
