xfree4.1.0 and kde

I also tried windowmaker and it gave me the same result
so it has to be an xfree problem

en closure, i add an url to see the screenshots:
this is after I just added user foo and started x with him:

and this is the one after I restarted X, all of the sudden, i have
a background, I have, ugly fonts in the taskbar+menu and hidious fonts
in konsole
