It would require conditionally patching the upstream source based on the arguments given to dpkg-buildpackage, which I don't think I have any way of knowing inside debian/rules. Even I did, it makes me nervous to do it. Once: fakeroot works on m68k && ( I get an NBD set up for my Quadra 840AV || that kickass Amiga 4000 is thrown open for general developer use ) I'll be more than happy to babysit m68k XFree86 builds myself. -- G.
