Problem is - I have no idea what's going wrong here. So I am bringing it up on this list in the hope that some X11 expert can tell me what's going wrong. When I run LyX with the eps file included I get the following error: torsten@pulsar:~/SAVE $ lyx Title.lyx Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Xlib: XDM authorization key matches an existing client! Error: Couldn't find per display information GS [4275] error 256 E:1 1 S:0 0 XFree86.0.log contains this message: AUDIT: Mon Mar 5 13:35:37 2001: 645 X: client 16 rejected from local host Auth name: XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1 ID: -1 Now I have no idea how this happens. I can't see how gs gets the authorization key and I don't know what gs-aladdin does differently from gs either. I tried to ltrace gs but with ltrace the interpreter just hangs in XSendEvent :( Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Torsten
