Why is it so difficult to find downloads for older releases?
I think it would be helpful to put a download link on this page: https://www.debian.org/releases/jessie/
On that page, there is this link under the architecture I need: https://www.debian.org/ports/i386/ but nothing on that page for downloading the files.
Under USB/CD images link, https://www.debian.org/CD/ there are four logical links to follow, the last leading only to a text page, not to a download page.
I finally found an download of a different version in my download manager and was able to find this URL from the historyy: https://caesar.ftp.acc.umu.se/cdimage/archive/7.11.0/i386/iso-cd/debian-7.11.0-i386-CD-1.iso and only by backing up the path was I finally able to locate what I need.
I think it would be very helpful to have a download link for the release on the first page for the release under www.debian.org/releases/xxxx
thank you
