Bug#902422: update Alioth-related contents and general info in /devel/debian-desktop/index.wml

Package: www.debian.org
Severity: normal
User: debian-www@lists.debian.org
Usertags: content

Hello Debian destkop team and website team,

In the process of updating broken links in the Debian website after Alioth's
deprecation, we have found and removed a paragraph in
https://www.debian.org/devel/debian-desktop :

- Help <a href="https://alioth.debian.org/projects/pkg-gnome";>pkg-gnome</a>,
- <a href="https://alioth.debian.org/projects/pkg-kde";>pkg-kde</a> or
- <a href="https://alioth.debian.org/projects/pkg-xfce";>pkg-xfce</a> group.
- You can help with packaging, bug triaging, documentation, tests and more.
- </li>
- <li>

I think that maybe we can take the opportunity to review and update the whole
page: recover that paragraph with the updated names of the desktop teams, links
to the new web pages or wiki pages, add the new desktops available, and review
the whole content.

Once that we figure out the new names for the teams (e.g. pkg-gnome etc sounds
wrong currently) and the URLs, we could also do a massive change of them across
the website (not only in this particular page).

So, for now, my proposal is:

1.-
pkg-gnome -> Debian GNOME team
https://alioth.debian.org/projects/pkg-gnome ->
https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/DebianGnome

2.-
pkg-kde -> Debian Qt and KDE Team
https://alioth.debian.org/projects/pkg-kde -> https://qt-kde-team.pages.debian.net/

3.-
pkg-xfce -> Debian Xfce Group
https://alioth.debian.org/projects/pkg-xfce ->
https://salsa.debian.org/xfce-team/  (or
https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/DebianXfceGroup, but this one needs update
Alioth->Salsa, mailing lists,etc)

4.- We probably need to mention at least the other desktops that are available
to install in Debian stable, currently: LXDE, Cinnamon and Mate, if I am not
wrong. I will try to provide a patch for this, but somebody more related to
desktop development in Debian will probably find the names and the correct links
before than me...

5.- Update the line of the people/teams maintaining the webpage? (CC'ing
stratus@debian.org who is the person currently mentioned there)

Kind regards,
