Hi there! On Tue, 26 Feb 2013 15:42:06 +0100, Holger Wansing wrote: > several consultants have reported, that they receive mass of spam via > their listed address. Is it just me or there is no sign of such claim on the consultants@ mailboxes? I am not saying that it is not true, but that there is no track where it should be. > And one has asked, if there is the possibility to list a contact webpage > instead of a e-mail address (as for example in > http://www.aptix.com.ar/contacto.php). > > In times of spam I consider this a good idea. If someone I need to contact requires a web form (and not an email address), I am usually reluctant to continue dealing with him, at least for three reasons: first, because such forms do not automatically send the request to the submitter; second, because I can not OpenPGP sign what I write and, third, because I need to use a browser and not my preferred MUA. I know I am not a lambda user, but on Debian we have an established communication channel (email), which is way better than any other (e.g. webforms). Thx, bye, Gismo / Luca
