I have IBM TP570 (P2 Mobil 366MHz with 192 MByte of memory) and Etch is
running very better as Sarge. Xorg and fvwm are booing nearly twice as
fast as under Sarge which was "xfree86"

You will definitivly avoid KDE and GNOME.
