Hello there, on the Debian BTS - mail server reference card[0] the following markup is used[1]: | <h2>Synopsis of bug submission and followup addresses</h2> | | <ul compact> | <li><var>nnn</var>[ <code>-submit</code> | ] | <li><var>nnn</var><code>-maintonly</code> | <li><var>nnn</var><code>-quiet</code> | <li><var>nnn</var><code>-forwarded</code> | <li><var>nnn</var><code>-request</code> | <li><var>nnn</var><code>-submitter</code> | <li><var>nnn</var><code>-done</code> | <li><var>nnn</var><code>-close</code> | <li><var>nnn</var><code>-subscribe</code> | </ul> AFAIK this attribute "compact" wasn't ever widely supported by the browsers, and furthermore it's not Valid HTML 4.01 Strict and thus the page doesn't validate[2]. It's been there ever since this page exists, but as long as nobody vetoes I'll simpy remove it in the next days. Alternatively it could be replaced by e.g. 'style="letter-spacing:whatever"', but I see no reason why this synopsis needs to be listed compactly ... Cheers, Flo [0] <http://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-refcard.en.html> [1] <http://cvs.debian.org/webwml/english/Bugs/server-refcard.wml?rev=1.34&root=webwml&view=log> [2] <http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.debian.org%2FBugs%2Fserver-refcard.en.html>
