Hello, Jutta. Do you have any page (sorry if I missed it) with
the current
analysis? I can take charge of Spanish pages.
wget http://www.witch.westfalen.de/debian/diff/validate-
errors-20051006.tgz
But do not make changes for single languages please. Differences in
the files tags make it much more difficult to me.
If you find any pages wrong _only_ in your own language, please feel
free to make them valid after comparing them to the original file.
I am not really sure, if it is easy then to make the changes, if you
cannot revalidate them with HTML strict afterwords.
* What would really help is contacting the people responsible for
Bugs and CD pages and what else is not maintained by the people
working on the main pages. Another thing is to find out, if the
changes in the security all can be done at once by me or if there are
to contact other people, too, because of scripts of automatic updates.
If everything goes well, the change to strict can be done in about
four weeks, I think. But who knows, how much more difficult files are
left? I don't. The count of errors in a file does not tell anything.
* another thing some help would be nice, is making a list of files
where extra styles are in the wml files or elsewhere.
* Ah, and for sure: not touching older files too much, would be nice,
too. I cannot do an update every day as that takes too much time,
where I cannot do changes.
greetings
Jutta
