Hi,

upon further investigation of the failure, it looks like the solution is to 
commit a new .po file for every language, e.g. debian-cdd.de.po by running 
make init-po in every languages's po directory.

If anybody could confirm that this indeed resolves the error, I could 
proceed with this. Otherwise, I stick with reverting the changes, just to 
be on the save side.
