I think there are still some problems with various Debian servers (and
services) after the compromise. However you may still see the reason for
removing TMDA in the ChangeLog
(http://http.us.debian.org/debian/dists/woody/ChangeLog). It appears to
come from the maintainer (Bug #219361) and he also recommends using
unstable version (in Bug #221906).
