One other thing I could do is change the intro text to something like.. Mirrors listed below in <b>bold</b> have recently been verified to contain at least CD image #1 for the i386 architecture. Mirrors not listed in bold may be out of date or down. And list everything, with the known-good ftp ones only in bold. -- see shy jo
