Bug#104413: patch] Cannot read language links for my mother tongue by lynx

Though it is a good idea to file a bug report against Lynx,
the bug report will be "wishlist" because it is NOT a bug of Lynx
that it doesn't support "entity reference". On the other hand,
"cannot read" is an important bug (though I filed this bug with
normal severity). And more, now we have an easy and straightforward
way to solve this "cannot read" situation. Why not take this way?
Please don't assume filing a bug report will solve the problem.
BTW, the target characters of transliteration of Lynx seems to be
limited to ASCII. If I am right (though I have not researched
the source of Lynx), it would not be easy for Lynx to support
Entity reference of CJK Ideogram.

Which is important, readability (I can read or cannot read at all) or
aethetics (what is your "horrible"?) ? Now, Lynx is one of popular
web browsers and is included in Debian distribution. On the other
hand, the solution I suggested is very simple and can be implemented
now immediately. Even if you are willing to improve Lynx to enable
"entity reference" for CJK Ideogram, I will propose to apply my
patch until the improvement of Lynx will be completed.

Sorry, I don't understand what you say.
When I load http://www.debian.org/index.en.html , the link for Japanese
page reads "日本語", not "Japanese", just like in
index.ja.html .
