Package: www.debian.org
Version: N/A; reported 2001-05-31
Severity: normal

Package searches for some packages that should be somewhere return results
and download pages which link to non-existant files on mirrors.

This has only been noticed for the packages "distributed-net" and
"distributed-net-pproxy", though more may be affected.

The download page informs me that I can download
distributed-net-pproxy_280-3.deb from the
dists/potato/non-free/binary-i386/misc/ subdirectory, but all the mirrors
listed returned a HTTP 404 Not Found.

Regards,
Graham

There are no longer a distributed-net or distributed-net-pproxy
package in stable. I have removed the offending web pages.

My guess is that those packages were removed from stable when 2.2r3
was released. Since packages aren't removed from stable very
frequently, we don't regenerate (from scratch) the package pages for
stable very often.

Closing the bug.
