There's no problem about that in Finnish.  We have essentially two
choices.  Either we use the English name verbatim as "The Hurd" or we
translate it, most likely by just adapting it to the Finnish structure as
"Hurd", where the definite article is implied (Finnish has no explicit
articles).  Which one is chosen is really just a matter of style and
consistency.

Anything else would be ridiculous.
