Debian web pages - new webmasters
Note that all further discussions will be held on debian-www. Subscription

I hope I haven't missed anyone who wrote to me about helping out.
So far I given three more people access to CVS, Jules Bean, Will Lowe,
and Craig Small (this does not count translators). These three were chosen
partly because they are already developers. Anyone who is getting this who
is serious about helping out should apply to become a member and subscribe
to debian-www.
It is preferable that only people willing to make an ongoing time commitment
become developers. It is still possible to help out occasionally by using
an anonymous (no write privileges) checkout from CVS and sending changes
to debian-www.
The selection of current developers was only done to speed things up. If
you become a developer with the express interest of helping with the web
pages you will be given write access. Although CVS allows us to fix even
intentional changes, I am concerned about security so would prefer to only
give write access to those who become developers.
