Have a little hope? Some of us are trying to make the rest see why
their actions are Not Cool.

Thing is, even though it's one big asshole and a bunch of other little
assholets chiming in (pardon my language, but I cannot find better
words to express this), it's not the whole project who feels this way,
and I see some sense and sensibility in the project leader and the
people who matter and are currently empowered to make bigger
decisions.

If, as a whole, Debian fails to apologise and make amends for what has
happened, I will regret seeing you or the other women involved with
Debian leave, but I will understand. I don't think, however, Debian
has completely failed yet. Let's see how the dust settles over this,
shall we?

I've seen other male-dominated geek communities go through similar
crises in the past. The sexism problems never completely go away, but
through steady leadership, they can be alleviated. Please don't give
up on us yet.

Best,
