RC bug would be abuse, I guess. And probably received as rude,
censorship, and thus leading to the opposite reaction.

What about a wishlist for an alternate set of themes/pictures and a
debconf interface for choosing the system default?

I totally second that ! I would even vote high for getting a computer stripped instead of a woman, which would meet IMHO the inner geek of more people ;)

Again (I said this already but it's lost in the thread), we cannot
vote against this package. Only common sense can make its maintainer
not uploading it. He will maybe have common sense...and maybe he
won't.

Well, maybe not everyone has the same view of what "common sense" means.
Indeed the picture used for this app is an artistic production from Bruno Bellamy http://neverland.net/bellamy/ , a well-known comics author.
Let's not start a flamewar on what is artistic and what's not. :-)

On the positive side, a message has been spreaded out in this
thread and I guess that some more people are now aware that hurting
people's feeling is very easy...and that one really never knows where
the line may be drawn.

Have you noticed that the package maintainer indeed did not
take part in the thread, by the way...:-)
