Unfortunately, upstream tried last month, but unconvered plenty of
regressions compared to mathjax2, so this is not going to happen anytime
soon most likely.

and https://github.com/mathjax/MathJax/issues/2836 for the bug the main
sigil developer opened against mathjax (even if bug said that most of
the reported bits are already fixed in PRs or such).
