FINAL CUT is a C++ class library and widget toolkit for creating
interactive terminal applications. It provides full mouse support
in all widgets. FINAL CUT helps the developer to quickly and easily
implement a fully functional text-based user interface (TUI). It allows
simultaneous handling of multiple (interactively arrangeable) text
windows on the terminal.

Initially, the structure of the Qt framework was the inspiration for
the class design of FINAL CUT. It provides user controls like dialog
boxes, pushbuttons, check-boxes, radio buttons, input lines, list
boxes,
menus, and status bars.

FINAL CUT draws widgets on virtual windows and maps them as a stacked
structure on a virtual terminal. The physical output of the virtual
terminals was realized by using the Termcap library and is buffered and
cursor-optimized.
