Just to make sure we are not talking past each other here...

I see several ways forward here:

 a) You package bootiso, and you find a mentor to release it to Debian
 b) You join the tinker team, and we package and release it there
 c) I package and release bootiso in the tinker team

I propose b) i.e. not you doing it (mostly) yourself but also not me
doing it myself.

Would you be willing to try that? Or have you lost interest in the
package maintenance task altogether and would prefer someone else (e.g.
me) fully caring for that?

Kind regards,

 - Jonas
